•  The Portuguese mercenary Fernando de Gama embarks on a dangerous journey to the East, driven by vengeance for his father’s death. Fate leads him to the exotic kingdom of Ayutthaya (Siam), where he becomes entangled in court intrigues, conspiracies, and a battle for the throne. 

• Fernando is captured but soon gets a chance to prove his worth by entering the king’s service. However, the deeper he delves into the secrets of the royal court, the clearer it becomes that betrayal lurks at the highest levels of power. His hunt for his father’s killer turns into a fight for his own life, and the line between friends and enemies grows increasingly blurred.
