ADNOC roadside dining expansion will add up to 200 restaurant outlets across fuel stations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

ABU DHABI: ADNOC Distribution has announced plans to introduce up to 200 quick service restaurant outlets across its fuel station network through a new partnership with Americana Restaurants International.

The ADNOC roadside dining expansion will bring internationally recognised food brands to service stations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as the company continues transforming traditional fuel stops into integrated mobility and lifestyle destinations.

Fuel stations across the Gulf are increasingly evolving into larger retail and convenience hubs offering dining, EV charging, shopping and leisure services. Major energy and retail companies are investing heavily in non-fuel businesses as consumer habits shift towards convenience-driven experiences and electric mobility solutions.

Under the partnership, ADNOC Distribution will combine its large regional retail network with Americana Restaurants’ operational expertise and portfolio of global restaurant brands. The companies said the collaboration is designed to deliver accessible dining experiences within everyday travel and mobility locations.

The ADNOC roadside dining expansion also supports the company’s wider strategy to grow non-fuel retail revenue while expanding EV charging, car care and lifestyle services across its network.

Americana Restaurants brands will also be integrated into The Hub by ADNOC, the company’s destination-focused retail concept combining fuel services, EV charging, dining and convenience offerings under one location. ADNOC plans to expand The Hub by ADNOC to 30 sites across the UAE by 2030.

Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Americana Restaurants, said the partnership would help transform roadside retail into destination experiences where customers can enjoy trusted food brands while travelling.

ADNOC Distribution CEO Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki said the ADNOC roadside dining expansion reflects the company’s focus on enhancing customer convenience while creating a future-ready retail ecosystem across the region.

Officials added that the partnership also supports ADNOC Distribution’s long-term target of doubling non-fuel retail transactions by 2030.
