“Brothers should not let anger reach the bone” — Music group, Bracket weighs in on Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye feud

 Nigerian music duo Bracket weighed in on the long-running feud between the Okoye brothers, calling on Peter, Paul and Jude to put aside pride, remember their bond and reconcile. They explained how listening to each brother separately only leaves one confused: If you listen to Peter, listen to Paul, listen to Jude, you dont even know where to come in. Everybody has their own personal issue. Its like, how can you guys even solve this? They warned that outsiders and public opinion worsened the situation: They paid too much attention to what people say. Forget about what people say. You are brothers. You know how you started, you lived in the same house, you came from the same womb. Why are you letting peoples words divide you? But they also admitted the fight had gone too far, saying crossing into police and EFCC-level disputes destroyed the essence of brotherhood: Both of them, all of them, theyve crossed the line. Getting your brother locked up? Theres no more brotherhood there. It will take Gods divine grace for them to ever get back together. Still, they pleaded for humility, stressing that reconciliation is always possible if pride is swallowed: Theres a saying in Igbo: the anger of a brother doesnt get to the bone. No matter how angry you are, dont let it reach the bone. Swallow your pride. Dig deep. Leave whatever has happened in the past the pride, the ego. Bracket also turned to fans, condemning outsiders who take sides without knowing the full story: We, the fans, are not happy. And the most painful part is people who dont even know them choosing sides.
