Chief Ayirimi Emami, a prominent member of the APC in Delta State and an Itsekiri leader, acknowledged the existence of hardship in the country but clarified that it was not caused by Asiwaju.

Speaking after leading prayers for the Itsekiri community during the “Ologbotsere Day” celebration at his Ubeji residence, Emami emphasized that the current challenges were a result of past mistakes and a flawed foundation inherited by the president.

He expressed sympathy for the president, recognizing the difficulties he faced in trying to address these issues and steer Nigeria towards progress.

Emami’s remarks aimed to separate the perceived hardships from attributions to specific individuals, highlighting the complex legacy of past decisions impacting the nation’s current situation.

In a report from Thisdaylive, Emami said, “A lot of people are saying there is hardship in the land and I agree. Rarely there is hardship but this hardship is not caused by Asiwaju. These were wrong foundations that were laid and I pitied the president that he inherited a very wrong foundation and he is struggling with it to ensure that Nigeria moves forward.”….Seē _ Morē
