Eighty-two Nigerian executives have earned Action Learning MBA degrees from Business School Netherlands Nigeria at the institution’s global convocation in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Saturday.

The Class of 2026 graduation brings the number of Nigerian holders of Business School Netherlands Action Learning MBA degrees to approximately 1,156, while the institution’s broader professional network in Nigeria has grown to more than 2,343 members.

The Action Learning programme is designed around workplace application, requiring participants to address live business challenges, reassess strategic assumptions, collaborate with international peers and implement solutions within their organisations.

Chief executive of Business School Netherlands Nigeria, Prof. Lere Baale, said the relevance of an MBA should be measured by the quality of decisions graduates make, their ability to develop others and the sustainable improvements they deliver.

“The enduring value of an MBA is demonstrated by the quality of a graduate’s decisions, the development of others, and the ability to deliver sustainable improvements,” Baale said.

The convocation also featured an address by Nigeria’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Ambassador Dr Mohammed Idris Haidara, who highlighted the growing participation of Nigerian professionals in international academic programmes.

Dr Olumide Ajayi, a director at Business School Netherlands Nigeria, urged the graduates to remain competitive as global markets and business models evolve.

Valedictorian, Dr Olubunmi Fatungase, delivered an address on behalf of the graduating class.

Manager and head of business development at Business School Netherlands Nigeria, Lanre Oloruntobi, said faculty members, Action Learning coaches and corporate stakeholders supported the executives throughout their research and coursework.

Business School Netherlands Nigeria said it would continue expanding its professional network across West Africa while strengthening the connection between executive education, workplace leadership, organisational performance and corporate governance.
