8-Year-Old Aura V Makes History as Youngest Grammy Winner Ever

An adorable 8-year-old girl named Aura V has just rewritten the record books by becoming the youngest person ever to win a Grammy Award.

Aura took home the Grammy for Best Children’s Music Album alongside her father, rapper and producer Fyütch, for their collaborative project titled “Harmony”. The win came over strong competition, including Tori Amos and Mega Ran.

The father-daughter duo accepted the award during the ceremony hosted by Trevor Noah. In their moment on stage, Fyütch proudly shared what makes Aura such a natural in the studio:

“She enjoys the fun parts of making music.”

Aura quickly jumped in with the cutest interruption: “And the food!”

She clearly stole the show with her confidence and charm. Aura also came dressed to impress in a stunning lavender outfit she personally chose.

Explaining her style choice, she said: “I picked out this lavender color because it’s chill. It’s relaxing. It helps me settle in because if I wore any other color like red that would blend into the red carpet. I got to stand out.”

And stand out she did! The young star’s win officially dethrones Blue Ivy Carter, who previously held the title as the youngest Grammy winner. Blue Ivy earned her award at age 9 in 2021 as a featured artist on Beyoncé’s “BROWN SKIN GIRL,” which won Best Music Video.
