26 Super Eagles now in Cairo camp as Chukwueze arrives, Osimhen, Simon still expected

Twenty-six players are now present in the Super Eagles’ camp in Cairo, Egypt, following the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze on Tuesday night.

The team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, confirmed the development, revealing that only Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon are yet to link up with the squad.

Efoghe also disclosed the team’s programme for Wednesday, stating that the Super Eagles will have a gym session at 11:00am before heading out for training at 5:00pm.

The update comes a day after Nigeria suffered a 2–1 defeat to the Pharaohs of Egypt in a pre-AFCON friendly played on Tuesday night.
