FTW champ Chris Jericho gets two challengers for Double or Nothing

AEW’s X For the second straight PPV, Chris Jericho and HOOK will wrestle for the FTW title. Unlike at April’s Dynasty show, however, at Double or Nothing Jericho will be defending a belt that he’s rechristened — and there will be a third man in the match. Ever since turning on HOOK to lean into negative fan reactions with a new heel gimmick, Jericho’s been trying to double-talk his way around a rematch. That was part of why AEW was running a Contender Series to find out who would challenge for the FTW championship this Sunday at Double or Nothing. That series gave us a three-way match on the May 22 Dynamite, pitting HOOK against his sometime-tag partner & fellow Jericho foe Katsuyori Shibata and Bryan Keith. It came down to a moment when both HOOK and Shibata had Keith trapped in a submission. When he tapped... HOOK... AND Shibata get the submission!?#AEWDynamite is LIVE on TBS pic.twitter.com/cSUm521Jnm— AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) May 23, 2024 ...it set-up ano

• Roderick Strong (c) vs. Will Ospreay for the International championship

• Orange Cassidy vs. Trent Beretta
