5 Things you didn’t know about Wizkid’s son, Tife Balogun

There’s more to Wizkid’s son, Tife Balogun, than being the child of a superstar; here are five things you probably didn’t know about him.

When your father is one of Africa’s biggest global music stars, the world naturally pays attention to your every move. Yet, for 14-year-old Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, being Wizkid’s first son is just one part of his story. Born on May 13, 2011, to Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun and Shola Ogudu, Tife has grown up under the public eye, but what’s truly fascinating is how he’s already carving his own path outside his father’s shadow.

Beyond being the son of a superstar, Tife is proving himself to be a creative, business-minded, and disciplined young man. Here are 5 things you probably didn’t know about Wizkid’s first son, Tife Balogun.

1. He became a CEO at just 7 years old

At an age when most kids were still figuring out their favorite cartoons, Tife Balogun was already running a fashion brand. In 2018, on his seventh birthday, he launched Czar & Czarina, a clothing line that made him one of the youngest confirmed CEOs in Nigeria.

The idea for the brand came from Tife’s unique sense of style. His mother, Shola Ogudu, once revealed that people often asked where she got his outfits from because of how stylishly he dressed. That curiosity became a business opportunity. Together, they created Czar & Czarina, a brand that reflects Tife’s fashion-forward personality.

Shola serves as the Creative Director, while Tife takes charge of outfit selection and creative direction. The line isn’t just limited to children’s wear; it also features designs for men and women, with an eye toward long-term expansion in Nigeria’s competitive fashion space.

To boost visibility, the brand has even collaborated with Nigerian celebrities such as YCee, Beverly Osu, and Sammy Walsh as models, signaling a strong sense of strategy and professional ambition behind the young CEO’s growing fashion empire.

2. He’s following in his father’s footsteps - But in his own way
